If Toxins Cause Hair Loss, Why is it Mostly Men Who Suffer from Male Pattern Baldness?
And Why is Hair Loss in Women Different from Men’s?
Male pattern baldness is a great topic for teaching the principle of pairing. Both men and women are exposed to mostly the same toxins, so if the baldness is caused by a toxin, why don’t women suffer from this type of baldness? As I previously stated numerous times, most (not all) intoxications require pairing with another substance, sometimes it’s a toxin and sometimes it’s a non-toxin, but in the case of male pattern baldness the substances that need to be paired with the following toxins are only found in male oriented products such as men’s fragrances and men’s shaving creams.
The toxins that cause this type of baldness are as follows (toxins in bold, herb/non-toxins not in bold):
Methyoxyethyl Acetate Gravel Root 900 mg/day x 12 wks
Diammonium Phosphate Clary Sage 450 mg 2x/day x 12 wks
The 2 above can be taken at the same time, and the 2 below can be taken at the same time. All 4 cannot be taken together so they must be done in sequence.
2-Hexoxyethanol Corn Silk 1200 mg/day x 3 wks
1,4-Dioxane Cardamom 2000 mg/day x 52 wks
Unfortunately, about 10 to 12 years after the onset of this type of baldness it may be too late to fix, because the hair follicles involute and die from the chronic inflammation.
If you are 15 years out, you might want to try it, as not everyone will fall into that time frame.
As an aside unrelated to hair loss, I’d like to relate a little story. I was with a couple whose husband had severe osteoporosis, so I was explaining the pairing principle to them and the wife exclaimed, “He’s been using women’s hairspray his whole adult life!” So here you can see that such things as osteoporosis, which is prevalent in women, requires pairing with substances found in products aimed at women.
Generalized hair loss is prevalent in both men and women and is caused by different toxins that don’t require pairing substances that are aimed at either men or women.
The toxins that cause generalized hair loss are the following (toxins in bold, herbs/antitoxins not in bold):
Quaternium-15 Licorice Extract ½ ml/day x 8 wks [Dandelion Root 1000 mg/day x 6 wks]
Triphenyl Phosphate Saffron capsules 3 per day for 12 wks.
Ethyl Acetate Cedarwood Oil 1 ml/day topically x 6 wks
Ethylene Glycol Monohexyl Ether Chasteberry 1 ml/day x 12 wks
Thiolacetic Acid Maidenhair Fern ½ ml/day x 4 wks
As I have stated before and will probably repeat myself many times, the time frame that is listed above is the amount of time that’s required to get rid of the particular toxin, that is in the tissue that is causing the problem. However, most people will have other toxins that will be taking up the herb in other places in their body, which is not a bad thing, but it makes it difficult to determine how much is actually getting to the target toxin. So I usually recommend that people double up the time at least to account for that dilemma.
Now sometimes what may seem like hair loss, is not really hair loss from the roots, but hair loss from breakage. The toxin is interfering with the integrity of the hair strand that makes it more fragile. Those toxins are as follows:
MEA-Laureth Sulfate Liverwort 1 ml/day x 8wks
Cetyl Palmitate Hyssop 1 ml/day x 8 wks
Glyceryl Oleate Eucalyptus ½ ml/day x 6 wks
The patchy hair loss of alopecia areata, which can occur not just to hair on the head but to any hair loss on the body is caused by an entirely different toxin.
Coronene is a polycyclic aromatic hydrocarbon found in pollution, but it only causes alopecia areata when it is paired with a dye used in fabric called Congo red. So a child or adult would have to be wearing something with Congo red dye when they inhaled the caronene for the first time, and the alopecia areata would not show up until 12 or more years later.
One last thing, that is important regarding generalized hair loss. As we age, and especially if we are on a low fat diet or taking statins (which I vehemently advise against), our hormone levels become insufficient. Pregnenolone is a hormone that is integral to hair growth, and often the lack or insufficiency of this hormone can affect hair loss.
I recommend Pregnenolone 50 mg/day. There is no finish time frame for this as the deficiency will probably persist with the waning hormones associated with aging.
Hopefully, you are beginning to have a greater appreciation of the concept of pairing, and why it plays such an important role in understanding intoxication. The beauty of understanding better how the entire system works, is its consistency. There are principles that once understood explain all of our illnesses without having to create mythical diseases, like autoimmune disease (alopecia areata), which is a totally made up disease. The inflammation from all supposed autoimmune diseases is caused by unidentified toxins in the tissues, which makes a whole lot more sense than our immune system attacking itself.
I will continue to suggest, that if you are new to my site, that you read all the articles, even if you do not believe they pertain to you, because there is a learning curve to be able to change your way of thinking when you move on to a new paradigm.
If you have any further questions, please put them in the comments, and I will be happy to answer them.
You are welcome. Hope it helps.
I never thought about it like this. Thank you
